Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited) required.
• 0-4 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Design substation components including yard layouts, grounding, lightning protection, and raceways.
• Develop protection and control schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
• Prepare design drawings, calculations, and BOMs for planning, construction, and maintenance.
• Perform engineering calculations like voltage drop and grounding analysis.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE, ANSI standards.
• Review quality to catch inaccuracies and omissions.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to develop solutions.
• Maintain project documentation and calculations.
• Identify problems and propose solutions to stakeholders.
• Travel for project assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
