Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related discipline with 4+ years of experience or equivalent education
Experience in construction and maintenance practices and resource estimation
Ability to lead initiatives and change implementation
Ability to interpret work requests, engineering drawings, schematics, and procedures
Knowledge of residential, commercial and utility electrical distribution and control systems

Responsibilities

Demonstrate commitment to safety across Substation staff
Coordinate bargaining unit personnel per policies to drive continuous improvement
Understand and manage work per business needs, departmental budget, and regulatory requirements
Identify capital solutions and convert O&M to capital with Business Services
Review capital orders for time, materials, and invoicing accuracy
Provide regular updates on backlog and productivity to management
Manage Substations Capital Spare Equipment Inventory and Cascade data
Submit switching requests to Distribution Control Center and outages in Outage Management System
