• Develops preliminary scope, schedules and pre-engineering walk meetings.
• Create and publish pre-engineering minutes and design specs.
• Visit substations for field walks and coordinate with teams.
• Order major equipment and manage procurement timelines.
• Provide design support and mentor junior engineers.
• Review cost proposals and manage contractor design cost.
• Support field personnel and ensure reliability and compliance.
• Maintain safety-focused work environment per safety protocols.
