Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Construction Manager to provide on-site oversight, coordination, and technical leadership for all project construction activities, interfacing with discipline supervisors and the site safety advisor to ensure work follows specifications and stays on schedule within budget.

The role calls for a strong background in high voltage substations or related facilities, 20–25 years of experience, and the ability to review subcontractor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management preferred.
• 20–25 years of substation or related facility construction experience.
• Strong technical background in installation and operation of high voltage facilities.
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions and manage safety compliance.
• Experience with EPC projects in electric power delivery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works with discipline supervisors and project manager to meet budgets and schedules.
• Integrates safety into project plans and reinforces safety policies.
• Supervises construction to ensure productivity and contractual performance.
• Review subcontractor work packages.
• Conducts daily site coordination meetings with all subcontractors.
• Ensures environmental, regulatory and safety requirements are followed.
• Assists start-up team during start-up, commissioning and testing.
• Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
