Job summary

Ulteig seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer to support Renewables, Utility and Power projects. You will act as a disciplined engineer, planning, scheduling and coordinating detailed phases of projects, with design work in foundation, structural steel and grading.

You may work in the office or field, traveling up to 15% as needed. The role requires a Civil/Structural Engineering degree (ABET-accredited) and PE registration or ability to obtain within six months, with 4+ years of experience

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
Civil/structural PE registration or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Minimum 4 years of engineering experience preferred.
Knowledge of electrical utility substation layout and design is a plus.
Familiarity with structural steel, drilled pier and footing design.

Responsibilities

Apply standard engineering techniques to complete tasks and ensure quality.
Develop plans, specifications and observation reports with accuracy.
Coordinate design aspects and prepare reports for project direction.
Communicate effectively with clients and collaborate with other disciplines.
Travel up to 15% and support marketing/business development activities as needed.
