Ampirical is seeking an experienced Drafter II to produce detailed electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for substation projects. You will follow technical specifications, interpret redlines, and ensure accuracy across multiple concurrent drafts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical drafting knowledge is a plus.
• 1+ years of drafting experience or training using CAD software.
• Strong ability to interpret drawings, redlines, and drafting standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed drafting assignments for electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for substations.
• Follow established specs to prepare drawings and incorporate revisions.
• Organize and manage multiple drafting projects with moderate oversight from senior staff.
• Consult with Drafting Lead to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Prepare finished working drawings for construction from detailed designs.
