Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group is seeking a Designer – Substation in Oklahoma to support substation design projects across the QISG platform. You will perform routine 2D/3D CAD design tasks with emphasis on accuracy and standards compliance using AutoCAD, Inventor and SDS.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or Eng Tech, 4+ years in electric utility substation CAD/design, and proficiency with CAD tools. Travel for site visits may be required; teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred or Eng Tech degree.
• 4+ years of electric utility CAD/design experience for high voltage substations.
• Proficiency with CAD software including 2D/3D design and SDS will be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Design work from project inception to completion on multiple substation projects.
• Utilize 3D and/or smart design software for substation layouts.
• Maintain quality drawing packages and ensure standards compliance.
