EMPACT-SPC/La Frontera Arizona seeks a Substance Abuse Therapist to provide psychotherapy for adults and families, tailoring treatment to individual needs. You will facilitate IOP, SOP, and Aftercare groups, with potential for individual or family sessions.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field; AZ BBHE licensure is preferred. Experience in substance abuse and group facilitation is valued, as is reliability, trauma‑informed care, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in marriage and family therapy, counseling, or social work required.
• AzBBHE Licensure is preferred.
• Experience working with substance abuse issues and facilitating groups is preferred.
• Must be organized, reliable, trauma-informed, and able to tailor treatment.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication and strong customer service skills.
• Fingerprint clearance card or eligibility to obtain one.
• Valid AZ driver’s license with no major infractions in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy for assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of adults and their families.
• Facilitate IOP, SOP, and Aftercare groups using the agency curriculum.
• Provide individual and/or family therapy as needed.
• Utilize community resources and referrals to enhance treatment.
