EMPACT-SPC, part of La Frontera Arizona, seeks a Substance Abuse Therapist in Maricopa, AZ. You will provide therapy to adults and families, facilitating group programs (IOP/SOP/Aftercare) and individual sessions, with emphasis on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of substance abuse issues.

You will deliver 40 hours weekly (30 direct client contact), maintain rigorous clinical documentation, and participate in supervision and program development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Behavioral Health related field required.
• Experience facilitating substance abuse groups is required.
• Detail oriented and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Substance Abuse certification is a plus.
• Must have a valid AZ driver’s license with no major infractions in the past three years.
• Must have regular access to reliable transportation.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age at time of employment.

Responsabilités

• Provide psychotherapy for assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of adults and their families; include IOP/SOP/Aftercare groups and individual/family therapy as needed.
• Deliver at least 40 hours of work per week with 30 hours direct client contact; maintain timely, thorough documentation.
• Work independently and participate in development, implementation, and evaluation of programs.
• Maintain client records in up-to-date status; complete Monthly Families First spreadsheets as required.
• Ensure quality service delivery and participate in the agency’s Quality Management Program.
• Participate in regular supervision and collaborate with clinical and administrative staff.
• Interact with clinical team, support staff, and administrative staff.
