BayMark Health Services is seeking a Compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor Supervisor to oversee Counselors and Interns, ensuring compliant service delivery and thorough documentation. Qualifications

• SUD Counselor in CA with supervisory experience preferred.
• Bachelor's in Behavioral Science or equivalent; graduate degree preferred.
• Experience with SUD; ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans and chart accurately; excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
• Previous experience with chemically dependent individuals a plus; must be positive, non-judgmental, and accepting toward our patient population.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and effective delivery of counseling services to all patients.
• Monitors treatment and counseling of all patients.
• Provides clinical supervision.
• Assigns counselors’ caseloads and adjusts as needed.
• Screens potential patients and determines eligibility.
• Facilitates intakes or assists with intake process.
• Conducts quality assurance file reviews.
• Completes and submits patient death reports as needed.
• Reviews and countersigns assessments and treatment plans for Counselor Interns.
• Manage all counseling staff and facilitate performance improvement discussions.
