Job summary

BayMark Health Services is seeking a compassionate Counselor Supervisor to oversee counselors and interns in a compliant outpatient setting. You will supervise, mentor, and assign caseloads while ensuring timely documentation and quality care.

The role requires a SUD counseling background with supervisory experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage staff trainings and new hires. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• CA SUD counselor with supervisory capability preferred.
• Ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans and chart accurately.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Experience with chemically dependent individuals a plus; non-judgmental attitude.

Responsibilities

• Supervise counselors and interns and assign caseloads.
• Ensure efficient delivery of counseling services and timely documentation.
• Monitor treatment plans for quality and accuracy.
• Conduct staff meetings, trainings and performance discussions.
• Assist with interviews and new hire training.
• Oversee compliance with laws, regulations, and BayMark policies.
• Screen eligibility and facilitate intakes; travel as necessary.
