Job summary

MedMark Treatment Centers is seeking a Compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor Supervisor to lead and supervise counselors delivering treatment and casework in a compliant outpatient setting. The supervisor will ensure timely documentation and identify additional patient needs while reporting to the Treatment Center Director.

Qualifications

• Must possess OH LCDCIII, LICDC, LICDC-CS, and LSW-S.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with chemically dependent individuals.
• Must have prior supervisory experience, be self-motivated and directed.
• Must demonstrate a positive, non-judgmental attitude toward patients.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with EMRs is a plus.
• Satisfactory criminal background check & drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assigns counselors’ caseloads, amends when necessary.
• Conducts quality assurance file reviews.
• Direct and supervise all intake operations.
• Ensure efficient and effective delivery of counseling services to patients.
• Maintains accurate and current clinical records per regulations.
• Maintain counseling caseload.
• Provide direct supervision to clinicians and assist in staff development.
• Acts as Treatment Center Director when absent.
• Other related duties as determined by supervisor.
