Job summary

Crossroads Treatment Centers in Morristown, TN is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor to provide individual counseling for complex patients, conduct clinical assessments, and design updated treatment plans. You will manage a caseload, collaborate with nurses, and facilitate urine drug screening to support holistic MAT-based care.

Qualified candidates will have general experience with underserved populations in clinical settings; Lived addiction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual counseling to highly complex patients.
• Conducts clinical assessments to appropriately assess patient’s treatment needs.
• Designs and updates the patient’s treatment plan, including care coordination, referrals, and discharge planning.
• Manages assigned caseload and compliance with clinical treatment requirements.
• Collaborates with nurses and providers to provide holistic treatment services.
• Facilitates urine drug screening for patients.
