Job summary

Crossroads Treatment Centers in Harriman, TN, seeks a Substance Abuse Counselor to provide individual counseling to highly complex patients and conduct clinical assessments to determine treatment needs.

You will design and update treatment plans, coordinate care with nurses and providers, manage a caseload, and ensure compliance with clinical requirements. The role offers training opportunities and advancement as you progress through counselor levels.

Qualifications

• General experience working with underserved populations in a clinical setting.
• Lived addiction experience is a plus.
• Certifications/licenses LMSW, LCSW, LPC or LADAC are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual counseling to highly complex patients.
• Conducts clinical assessments to determine treatment needs.
• Designs and updates treatment plans, including care coordination and discharge planning.
• Manages assigned caseload and adheres to treatment requirements.
• Collaborates with nurses and providers to deliver holistic care.
• Facilitates urine drug screening.
