Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or a closely related field is required.
• One year of experience in mental health or substance use counseling preferred.
• Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
• LCDC Intern license required.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.

Responsibilities

• Interviews and assesses prospective program participants using screening and assessment instruments.
• Facilitates individual and group treatment interventions per agency and regulations.
• Promotes engagement, develops treatment plans, and uses therapeutic tools to manage behavior.
• Maintains confidentiality of clinical files and ensures compliance with laws and policies.
• Documents and tracks treatment plans and monitors progress.
