The NC Department of Adult Correction seeks a licensed clinical supervisor to lead a clinical team at a 300-bed residential treatment facility in Goldsboro, NC. This is a 300-bed residential treatment facility responsible for the delivery of chemical dependency treatment services to probationers sent by the courts and parolees released from the State Prison System and transitioning back into the community. Rehabilitation and Reentry Treatment staff plans, administers, and coordinates chemical dependency screening and substance use disorder treatment services within the Department of Adult Correction. The selected candidate for this position will function as part of the clinical team at a 300-bed residential treatment program and will provide administrative/clinical supervision and training to assigned staff. This position will provide case consultation and educational and clinical counseling in serious and complicated cases requiring a wide range of advanced clinical skills with a specific focus on co-occurring diagnosis in the resident population. Other duties associated with this position include counseling; consultation with psychiatrist, substance abuse program manager, facility management, medical team; and individual treatment planning and delivery.
Knowledge of the theories or practices of chemical dependency counseling Experience in the assessment, treatment, and/or referral of substance abusing offenders or of clients involved in the criminal justice system. Knowledge of an electronic system of treatment records and of a spreadsheet application.
Salary Range: $47,703 - $83,479

Licensed as a Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) or as a Clinical Supervisor Intern (CSI) to practice under the provisions of the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Act. NOTE Applicants possessing one of these credentials from a governing authority recognized by the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board will also be considered Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
