The Substance Abuse Worker supports residential substance use disorder treatment programs within the Division of Rehabilitation and Reentry by providing supervision, daily living assistance, and structured support to clients in a 24/7 facility setting. The role helps maintain a safe and orderly environment, contributes to treatment team operations, and ensures consistent monitoring, documentation, and client engagement aligned with program standards.
This position is located in Black Mountain, NC.
Salary Range: $32,287-$56,502
Work Schedule: Have flexibility to work any shift (3rd, 2nd, and 1st) to staff the 24/7 operation of these facilities; according to the need. Employees may be assigned to work 8 or 10-hour shifts 4 or 5 days a week. Shift Premium Pay is also available in addition to the base salary for employees assigned to 2nd and 3rd shifts. Required to work weekends and holidays as scheduled. Accommodate modifications to work schedules including hold-over or schedule changes on short notice to provide critical operational needs.
