Job summary

Leidos in Lynnwood, WA is seeking an Engineering Integration Manager to lead a cross-functional team responsible for underwater vehicle systems, sensors, and ISR solutions for defense missions.

You will guide systems engineering, electrical, mechanical, and software engineers, technicians, and logisticians from concept through production, ensuring on-time delivery while maintaining technical rigor and customer satisfaction. A U.S. citizenship and active clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of significant experience in technical leadership.
• 5+ years leading multidisciplinary teams from benchtop testing through product delivery.
• Experience with subsea maritime systems or integrated electro‑mechanical systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on technical leadership for production, integration, testing, and sustainment of complex maritime systems.
• Oversee production and field issues through investigation, root‑cause analysis, and practical engineering solutions.
• Improve system and sub‑system designs for manufacturability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Interact with customers to ensure timely resolution of issues and delivery of unique electro‑mechanical systems.
• Oversee approval of technical data packages, drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and documentation for production.
• Coordinate with quality, supply chain, facilities, and suppliers to address challenges.
• Establish and follow configuration management processes for product support and lifecycle changes.
• Provide technical support for fielded systems to ensure reliability and mission readiness.
• Assemble and lead multidisciplinary teams across systems, mechanical, electrical, software, test, and manufacturing.
