Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Engineering Integration Manager in Lynnwood, WA to lead a cross‑functional team of engineers, technicians, and logisticians in support of underwater vehicle systems, maritime sensors, subsea telemetry, and ISR solutions for critical defense missions.

The role provides senior technical leadership from prototype design to production, coordinating systems engineering, manufacturing, planning, and documentation to ensure on-time delivery of complex electro-mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; 10+ years leadership.
• 10+ years subsea maritime or integrated electro-mechanical systems.
• 5+ years leading multidisciplinary teams from benchtop to production.
• Strong problem-solving and engineering credibility.
• Systems-level understanding of complex products.
• Experience scaling to production; cross-org integration.
• SECRET clearance or ability to obtain; US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership for production, integration, testing, and sustainment of complex maritime systems.
• Oversee production and field issues through technical investigation and root-cause analysis.
• Improve system and sub-system designs for manufacturability, reliability, maintainability, and cost.
• Interact with customers to ensure timely resolution of issues and delivery.
• Oversee and facilitate approval of technical data packages and documentation.
• Interact with quality, supply chain, facilities, and suppliers to address challenges.
• Ensure configuration management processes are established and followed.
• Provide technical support for fielded systems to maintain reliability and mission readiness.
• Assemble and lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering disciplines.
