Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Lead Test and Integration Engineer in the Undersea Systems Division to guide testing, validation, and integration of advanced maritime technologies. This role supports Navy missions and requires strong hands-on expertise with electromechanical systems.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, develop automated testing frameworks, and ensure systems meet requirements from prototype to deployment. U.S. Citizenship and SECRET clearance eligibility preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 4+ years of hands-on testing, integration, validation, and verification experience.
  • Experience with testing frameworks, scripting languages, and automation tools.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Test and Validate: develop and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and protocols.
  • Integrate systems and conduct hands-on testing: develop and execute integration plans to bring complex systems together.
  • Collaborate: work with systems engineers, software developers, and hardware teams to resolve issues.
  • Automate Testing: develop automated testing frameworks and tools.
  • Analyze Results: document test results and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Support Development: promote a design-for-testing focus during development and integration.
  • Mentor Team: guide a matrixed team of engineers through testing phases.
