Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Business Analyst (Customer Success) to turn consumer metrics into actionable insights that drive subscriber growth and retention. You will analyze LTV, CAC, churn, and cohort performance, and collaborate with marketing, product, and sales to embed insights into growth strategies.

The role requires hands-on SQL, dashboard development (Tableau/Power BI/Looker), and forecasting, plus strong communication to present findings to stakeholders and influence decisions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in business analytics, consulting, market research, or growth operations.
• 1+ years of experience with SQL and creating/managing dashboards using data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, statistics, computer science, or a related quantitative field
• Advanced SQL skills with complex joins, window functions, and query optimization
• Experience with forecasting, financial metrics (e.g., LTV, CAC), or pricing analysis
• Proficiency in statistical modeling and forecasting techniques (time-series analysis, regression in Python or R)
• Experience with ETL processes, data pipelines, or automation scripting (Python, VBA)
• Background in high-growth consumer tech environments or startups focusing on customer acquisition and retention
• Strong research skills with market intelligence tools
• Excellent communication and ability to present insights to non-technical audiences
• Project management experience in fast-paced settings

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth analyses of consumer metrics including LTV, CAC, churn, and cohort performance using SQL and statistics.
• Develop forecasting models for subscriber growth, revenue projections, and market penetration.
• Create and maintain dashboards to track KPIs for acquisition, retention, and engagement.
• Conduct market research and price analysis to optimize revenue and affordability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and sales to integrate insights into growth strategies.
• Identify data gaps and work with engineering to improve data collection.
• Deliver presentations and reports to stakeholders with clear business recommendations.
• Support ad-hoc research projects blending qualitative insights with quantitative rigor
