Humana Inc. seeks a Subrogation Professional 2 to investigate accident and claim events to determine recovery opportunities and potential liability. You will gather details from members, providers, adjusters, and attorneys, review payments, and manage liens while negotiating repayment where appropriate.

You will report to a Supervisor and balance a high-volume workload, documenting all activities and maintaining professional communication with involved parties in a remote work setup.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of subrogation claims handling experience in healthcare, property and casualty, or workers' compensation insurance.
• 2+ years of phone customer service experience dealing with escalated situations involving attorneys, providers, and/or members.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel to create forms, reports, and documents.
• Experience multitasking across several computer systems and data entry.

Responsabilidades

• Review new accident, injury, or claim events to determine whether subrogation may apply.
• Contact members, providers, adjusters, attorneys, and other parties to gather details by phone or email.
• Investigate facts: what happened, date and location, fault, and parties involved.
• Review claim payments and create/update liens; negotiate repayment as needed.
• Document conversations and updates in appropriate systems; follow up on outstanding items.
• Balance daily workload and meet monthly productivity, quality, and recovery targets.
