Job Overview
SubroIQ is seeking a Collection Subrogation Specialist to collect outstanding balances, provide documentation, coordinate dispute resolution, and escalating high‑risk accounts.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with businesses via telephone and written correspondence
- Conduct activities such as phone calls, internet searches, third‑party report reviews to obtain reliable contact information
- Maintain minimum account work standards as assigned by Management
- Negotiate claims’ resolution with insurance carriers, attorneys, and responsible parties
- Establish agreements for lien releases and monthly payment contracts
- Prepare investigative correspondence and acquire background information when necessary
Requirements
- 1 year of third‑party collections and/or subrogation experience required
- Exercise independent judgment and negotiate settlements
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, data entry, and strong computer skills; Excel preferred
- Critical thinker, strong attention to detail, goal‑oriented
- Ability to deescalate adverse situations
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Dependability and customer service experience required
Compensation and Benefits
- $17–19 (DOE) per hour plus commission
