Cotiviti is seeking a Subrogation Recovery Specialist to analyze and recover dollars from accidents and illnesses where another party is responsible. You will work with attorneys, adjusters, providers, and clients to maximize settlements and ensure quality in case documentation.

The role emphasizes strong written and verbal communication, HIPAA compliance, and the ability to review EOBs and related claims data. A detail-oriented, independent team player will thrive in this environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years relevant experience.
• Experience in a Legal office, paralegal or legal assistant and/or insurance industry experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage a variety of cases with accurate notes from creation to recovery.
• Move cases through the case management workflow with timely updates.
• Interact professionally with attorneys, adjusters, providers, court staff, recipients and families.
• Negotiate and settle claims and liens per contract guidelines.
• Ensure HIPAA and data security compliance in all processes.
• Prepare required correspondence, liens, and related documents to progress cases to recovery.
