Job summary

Conservice is seeking a Meter Technician to install, configure, and maintain water submeters across multifamily properties. You will install equipment, verify measurements, and ensure accurate data transmission while adhering to safety guidelines.

The role requires travel 1 week per month, lifting 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and strong customer service. Training is provided, including a six-week program, plus company vehicle and tools.

Qualifications

• Able to travel 1 week per month.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders up to 10 feet.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong time-management and organizational abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and configure submeters and related communication systems in multifamily properties.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspection of submeters for accurate measurement.
• Troubleshoot issues related to submeter performance, connectivity, or data transmission.
• Calibrate and test submeters to ensure accurate water usage data.
• Lift and move equipment weighing 50+ pounds during installation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with property staff to address questions or concerns about submetering.
• Educate staff and residents on operation of water submeters.
• Maintain records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Follow safety guidelines and stay current with industry best practices.
