Job summary

Conservice is seeking a Meter Technician to install, maintain, and repair water submeters in multifamily properties and retail areas. You will program systems, troubleshoot issues, and calibrate meters to ensure accurate consumption data.

This role requires climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 pounds, and extensive field work. A valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and ability to travel ~25% are essential. Training and company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to use a Windows-based laptop with basic Excel and Gmail experience.
• Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time as required by business needs.
• Independently manage time and workload to meet deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and configure submeters and related communication systems in multifamily homes, apartment complexes, and retail areas.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspection of submeters to ensure accurate measurement and proper functioning.
• Toubleshoot and diagnose issues related to submeter performance, connectivity, or data transmission.
• Calibrate and test submeters to ensure accurate water consumption measurement.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
