Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Submarine Shipbuilding Improvement Engineer/Analyst to join a dynamic team supporting the U.S. Navy’s Team Submarine and VIRGINIA Class programs at the Washington Navy Yard in DC.

You will identify and implement improvements to accelerate efficiency, productivity and safety while coordinating with engineering, production, and quality assurance across multiple departments. The role requires proven experience in submarine construction, strong project management, and the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial engineering, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of submarine construction or Navy program experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, plan, and implement improvement initiatives to accelerate operational efficiency, productivity and safety.
• Lead cross-functional teams to drive change within the shipyard and NAVSEA programs.
• Analyze submarine construction processes and identify production barriers and inefficiencies.
• Develop and implement strategies to streamline operations and reduce cycle times.
