Job summary

Serco Inc. (Serco) is seeking an Acoustic Engineer to support the Acoustics Systems Integration Team in PMS450, the VIRGINIA Class Submarine program office, at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. Join a dynamic team delivering technical and programmatic support to Navy teams.

This role requires an active Secret clearance, a Bachelor's in engineering or related field, and 5 years’ experience. You will review designs, coordinate with stakeholders, brief senior leaders, and lead technical

Qualifications

Active Secret clearance and U.S. Citizenship required.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, physics, or related discipline; 5 years' experience.
Excellent communication and analytical skills; able to brief senior leaders.

Responsibilities

Support PMS450 evaluation of proposed designs and arrangements.
Review technical submittals and provide assessments with inputs from stakeholders.
Lead program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule and technical performance.
Provide acquisition management planning and execution support.
Lead technical discussions for project reviews and deliver formal briefings.
