Job summary

International Executive Service Corps is seeking an experienced program manager to support submarine construction at Groton. This role directs a 20+ person team, coordinating shipyard engineering, production, quality, and program office stakeholders to sustain schedule, cost, and safety.

You will conduct root-cause analyses, lead on-deck observations, and drive rapid interventions to resolve technical, supply chain, or resource issues.

Qualifications

• Active or current DoD Secret clearance.
• Experience managing ship maintenance/construction programs in a nuclear shipyard.
• Strong leadership and cross-organizational collaboration skills.
• Excellent written and oral communications.
• Ability to travel up to 100% to Groton and Quonset Point.

Responsibilities

• Identify and communicate schedule delays and quality issues to leadership.
• Conduct work effectiveness studies and daily deck plate observations.
• Analyze root causes of delays and quality issues in module construction.
• Assess technical, supply chain, or resource issues and drive resolution.
• Collaborate with Shipbuilder, Navy, and program offices to improve processes.
• Document barriers with NAVSEA and Program Office affecting delivery pace.
• Lead a 20+ person team working with TMO to meet objectives.
• Travel and engage with stakeholders across waterfront locations.
• Mentor junior staff and foster team cohesion.
• Brief complex issues to senior management.
