Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a Marketspace Project Manager for Castings & Forgings to lead strategy, analysis, and development of Acquisition Management solutions in support of U.S. Navy submarine programs.

You will engage Navy program offices, shipbuilders, and suppliers to improve capacity, reduce lead times, and mitigate risks across the Submarine Industrial Base. A DoW Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible experience in engineering, manufacturing, or defense acquisition.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams and large modernization initiatives.
• Experience with NAVSEA, DoD programs, shipbuilding, foundry/ forging operations.
• Ability to obtain DoW Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Castings & Forgings Marketspace strategy for submarine construction and sustainment.
• Maintain Marketspace Health Assessments using supply chain data.
• Identify systemic risks and bottlenecks affecting submarine production.
• Develop and execute marketspace strategies to improve industrial base resilience.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, logistics and contracting.
