Job summary

Serco Inc. in Chantilly, VA seeks a Submarine Infrastructure Analyst to support NAVSEA customers in the Washington, DC area. The role emphasizes ownership, process improvement, and building tools to increase visibility for submarine infrastructure readiness.

Must have an active DoW Secret clearance. Responsibilities include leading shore infrastructure transitions, coordinating agreements, and ensuring funding alignment for Columbia-class support.

Qualifications

• Active DoW Secret security clearance is required.
• 10 years' experience in engineering, science management, or defense infrastructure programs.
• Bachelor’s degree requirement or equivalent experience consideration.
• Significant experience in U.S. Navy programs or fleet operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for senior NAVSEA/NAVFAC leadership.
• Willingness to learn new digital tools and configure platforms like SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead for shore infrastructure, facility modification, and TRF readiness initiatives for Columbia-class transition.
• Draft, review, and manage transition agreements between PMS 397/396, NAVFAC, CNIC, and TRFs.
• Collaborate with TRFs, Public Shipyards, and Naval Centers to audit equipment and facilities readiness.
• Review POM requirements to ensure MILCON and FRM funding for infrastructure needs.
• Capture lessons learned from prior ship class transitions to mitigate risks.
• Interface with NAVSEA Program Offices and regional commands on facility timelines.
