Job summary

Synchron, LLC seeks a Submarine Electrical Systems Specialist to support the Navy’s PMS 392 program at the Washington Navy Yard, DC. You will provide executive-level support to Navy leaders, plan and track program initiatives, and ensure systems engineering processes are applied during life cycle sustainment.

The role requires 10+ years of Navy modernization experience and DoD Secret clearance. Telework may be situationally allowed, with on-site duties at the Washington Navy Yard.

Qualifications

• Ten years or more of relevant Navy modernization and submarine systems experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; in lieu of degree, ten+ years supporting Navy customers in a business capacity.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Working knowledge of Power BI and configuration management processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assessments and assist in troubleshooting submarine electrical systems and components.
• Support planning and execution of HM&E related maintenance and modernization.
• Execute Technical Authority for in-service submarine classes.
• Prepare reports and briefings to support program actions.
• Manage action items and maintain program files.
