Precise Systems seeks a Submarine Electrical Systems Specialist in Washington, DC to support Navy submarine modernization and maintenance programs. You will coordinate engineering activities, develop critical manuals, and lead technical authority tasks across in-service submarine classes. The role requires deep systems knowledge, ability to collaborate with NAVSEA and shipyards, and accuracy in documentation.

Hybrid work may be allowed; travel up to 10% CONUS/OCONUS. U.S.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field or 10+ years supporting Navy customer in a business capacity.
• Experience: 10+ years with U.S. Navy Modernization and Submarine systems.
• PM: Plan, organize workflows, meet tight deadlines.
• Regulatory: Apply and enforce project guidelines.
• Tools: Knowledge of configuration management and ILS processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assessments and troubleshoot submarine electrical systems.
• Execute Ship Design Manager and Engineering Manager Technical Authority across all in-service submarine classes.
• Develop and review logs, manuals, and reports (PMPs, PMS procedures, DFS, LARs, SEPM).
• Provide engineering oversight for CBM and RCM practices.
• Coordinate with NAVSEA codes, Program Offices, naval shipyards and PMTs.
• Apply systems engineering during lifecycle sustainment and monitor performance.
• Stay current on advances in submarine engineering and related tech.
• Capture meeting minutes and manage deliverables for leadership.
