Job summary

Synchron, LLC seeks a Program Analyst to support PMS 392 at the Washington Navy Yard, DC. You will provide program analysis for maintenance and modernization of the U.S. Navy's Attack Submarines and coordinate with Navy stakeholders.

The role requires a technical degree or 5+ years in program management, seven years of experience, strong MS Office skills, and an active Secret DoD clearance. On-site work with limited telework is expected.

Synchron, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Program Analyst to support the U.S. Navy's In-Service Attack Submarines Program Office (PMS 392) at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC! We are seeking a candidate to join our team and provide program analysis and support services to the maintenance and modernization of the U.S. Navy's fleet of Attack Submarines. PMS 392 is part of U.S. Navy's Team Submarine (TSUB) which is responsible for the design, new construction, maintenance and modernization of the nuclear-powered submarine fleet.

Responsibilities:

• Attend key team meetings to capture critical decisions, dependencies, and owners at Flag-Level and special project meetings as required.
• Develop, maintain, and actively update action item trackers and project dashboards.
• Proactively follow up with task owners to ensure suspense dates are met and risks are mitigated before they impact deadlines.
• Maintain, edit, and consolidate major changes to slide decks, read-aheads, and briefing packages intended for executive leadership.
• Ensure all executive products strictly adhere to organizational standards, formatting, and design guidelines.
• Serve as the primary administrator for the team's Microsoft Teams environment, keeping channels organized and uncluttered.
• Ensure files, documentation repositories, and channel tabs are systematically updated and version controlled.
• Coordinate directly with external government and defense stakeholders (e.g., NAVSEA, PAE Undersea, PAE Industrial Operations, Warfare Centers, Fleet/Type Commanders, etc.).

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (or 5+ years of relevant experience).
• Seven (7) years of professional work experience related to program and project management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• High reliability and demonstrated personal initiative.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments.
• Active Secret DoD clearance, plus familiarity with handling restrictions (CUI, NOFORN, etc.) for sensitive documents.

Desired Education and Experience

• Navy ship, submarine or aircraft experience (to include involvement with maintenance and modernization needs, requirements and processes)
• Experience working with or at Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) or shipyards.

Work Location:

Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC. Routine Telework is not allowed for this position; Situational Telework may be granted dependent on workload and circumstances.
