Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Weapons System Requirements Analyst to support the Navy's Submarine In-service Program Office.

You will conduct multi-disciplinary capabilities analysis, plan and coordinate tests, and collaborate with NAVSEA and interagency partners to validate submarine system requirements. The role requires DoD clearance, US citizenship, and relevant SSBN experience or alternatives per the listed qualifications.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret clearance required or ability to obtain/transfer.
• US citizenship is mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree with 5 years SSBN MT experience or HS diploma with 9 years of relevant work.
• DASO experience and/or post SSBN ERO SITP experience.
• SP205 or SPP51 experience.
• Knowledge of SWS and SWSS.
• Proficient in MS Office with advanced capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis of military capabilities across disciplines.
• Participate in test planning and evaluation meetings.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to develop T&E plans and frameworks.
• Plan and execute post-delivery events with Warfare Centers.
• Provide technical accuracy reviews of subsystem drawings.
• Lead stakeholder meetings to ensure DT requirements are met.
• Author assessments of platform requirements.
• Support review of submarine operating procedures and manuals.
• Provide insight on submarine system specs and drawings.
• Collaborate with interagency teams on procedures and testing.
• Develop analytical products and briefings for military customers.
• Support policy and procedure development in defense community.
• Interact with external customers to determine scope and deliverables.
• May supervise junior analysts or project team members.
• Perform additional admin duties as assigned.
