Job summary

Publix Super Markets is seeking a Production Associate in our Manufacturing department in Georgia. You will set up the production area, operate all equipment, label and inventory ingredients, and ensure GMP compliance and clean work areas.

You will perform quality checks on finished products, document inspections, and complete production paperwork. This role requires the ability to lift 50 lbs, work in a fast-paced setting, and collaborate with a team to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must demonstrate good GMPs and safe working habits.
• Able to lift in excess of 50 lbs. frequently.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and shift schedules.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Set up production area and operate all equipment in the department.
• Document equipment inspections and report unsafe conditions or damage.
• Label and inventory fresh ingredients and final product.
• Select sub kits for designated stores and maintain clean equipment and work area.
• Perform quality inspections of finished product and complete required paperwork.
• Support other team members and perform duties as assigned.
