Publix Super Markets in Georgia is seeking a Production Associate to support manufacturing operations. You will assemble and disassemble equipment, operate slicing equipment, and uphold strict GMP and sanitation standards to ensure safe food production.

The role requires heavy lifting, accurate weighing and labeling, and collaboration across teams. You will also be responsible for documentation, paperwork, and timely communication to other production areas.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must demonstrate GMP compliance.
• Must demonstrate safe working habits.
• Must be able to lift in excess of 50 lbs. frequently.
• Must be able to learn and perform all positions.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and be a team player.
• Must be able to work any shift, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble equipment.
• Operate all department slicing equipment.
• Maintain strict sanitation and GMP practices.
• Calculate bin requirements for production.
• Weigh, fill, and package products accurately.
• Label and inventory bulk product accurately.
• Document equipment inspections and report safety issues.
• Complete all required paperwork for the position.
• Assist operators with daily production tasks including operating slicing equipment and labeling bins.
• Provide timely, accurate communication to other areas regarding production needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
