Job summary

Publix Super Markets in Georgia is seeking a production/maintenance associate responsible for assembling and disassembling equipment, safely dispensing and using chemicals, and maintaining the chemical storage area. You will clean all production equipment and uphold SOPs at an exceptional level.

You must be able to lift 50+ pounds, work in wet environments, and operate floor scrubbers. Must be flexible for all shifts, weekends, holidays, and extended hours, with strong teamwork and safety focus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must demonstrate GMPs adherence and safe working habits.
• Must be able to use industrial strength chemicals safely.
• Must understand Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
• Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds frequently.
• Must push/pull heavy equipment and handle physical tasks.
• Must have basic mechanical skills and general machine knowledge.
• Must work in wet/slippery environments and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to learn and perform all positions and work with others as a team.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Assembling and disassembling equipment.
• Dispensing and using chemicals safely.
• Maintaining chemical storage area.
• Cleaning all production equipment.
• Maintaining SOPs at an exceptional level.
• Preventing damage when cleaning equipment, including wiring/panels.
• Applying chemicals on equipment and in environmental locations.
• Operating and maintaining floor scrubbers.
• Other duties as assigned.
