Job summary

Publix Super Markets in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Production Associate to set up, operate, and maintain packaging and line equipment on a rotating schedule. You will work across multiple stations including code daters, bagging, scales, loaf cutter, and specific machines (8600/8610), while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates are able to lift 30+ pounds, work in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth production flow.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift in excess of 30 pounds frequently.
• Must demonstrate safe working habits and GMP compliance.
• Must be able to work any shift, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must have good attendance and punctuality.
• Must be able to learn and perform all required positions.
• Must communicate effectively and work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain equipment including packaging code daters, bagging equipment, scales, loaf cutter, tape machines, and 8600/8610 machines.
• Rotate through all positions and lines; perform other duties as assigned.
