Job summary

Publix Super Markets in Georgia is seeking a Manufacturing production associate to support bread production. You will set up, bake, slice, and assist operators, ensuring product quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Must be 18+, uphold GMPs, lift up to 55 lbs, and work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. We value teamwork, reliability, and a proactive approach to maintaining clean, organized production areas.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must demonstrate excellent work habits in line with GMPs
• Must demonstrate safe working habits
• Must be able to lift in excess of 20 lbs repetitively, 55 lbs occasionally
• Must be able to push/pull racks of product (up to 100 lbs)
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have good communication skills
• Must follow detailed written and verbal instructions
• Must be a team player and reliable

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper weights and lengths of finished products
• Perform and document quality inspections of finished product
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking production area
• Assist operators in daily production operations including setting up, proofing, and baking bread and rolls
• Slice bread
• Operate ovens, proofers and bread slicers
• Other duties as assigned
