Job summary

Bechtel is building a semiconductor plant in New Albany, Ohio. We seek a Schedule Engineer to develop, maintain, and report subcontract schedules, coordinating with construction, engineering, procurement and project management to keep work on time and within objectives.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and 5–12 years' experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. You will support look-ahead planning, recovery plans, and dashboards for the subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years relevant experience or 9–12 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic contract/ procurement knowledge.
• Ability to collaborate with project teams, suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Level 3, Level 4, and detailed execution schedules for subcontract scope.
• Integrate engineering, procurement, construction, startup, and commissioning activities.
• Monitor progress, productivity, earned quantities, and manpower trends.
• Perform critical path and near-critical path analysis.
• Support look-ahead planning (90-day, 3-week, and monthly forecasts).
• Coordinate schedule updates with subcontractors and construction supervision.
• Generate progress and performance reporting packages.
• Monitor schedule impacts from design changes, constraints, and field conditions.
