Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is building a semiconductor manufacturing plant in New Albany, Ohio, supporting material planning and coordination for the project site. You will identify required materials, plan storage and shipping, and report on material work package statuses to support installation.

Your role ensures materials and equipment are adequate and available at the jobsite, coordinating with procurement, warehouse, and project teams.

Qualifications

• Inventory control: maintain accurate records, monitor stock, reconcile with system.
• Materials & warehouse operations: receiving, storage, issuing, staging, movement.
• Inventory systems & data accuracy: proficient with inventory management systems and Excel.
• Organize and solve problems: prioritize requests, investigate discrepancies, coordinate with procurement/warehouse/project teams.

Responsibilities

• Performs material coordination to ensure accurate status reporting for installation.
• Monitors planned inventory control mechanisms (min-max, bag-and-tag) and uses SCM tools.
• Allocates priorities to ensure material availability ahead of installation needs.
• Coordinates material availability with design revisions, rework, contingencies, or work-arounds.
• Participates in planning meetings to stay aware of changes in installation plans and priorities.
• Coordinates with warehouse for direct-to-installation materials, bypassing storage.
