Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Subcontracts Manager for a fully remote role based in the United States. You will lead subcontract management and procurement for U.S.

Government and commercial programs, partnering with sourcing, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to drive contract execution from development through closeout. You will shape negotiation strategy, monitor supply continuity, and mitigate risks across a portfolio of high-value agreements, ensuring cost, schedule, and performance objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience (or advanced degree with 5+ years)
• Direct experience in DoD procurement and subcontract management
• Familiarity with FAR/DFAR regulations
• Proven negotiation skills for price reductions and contract terms

Responsibilities

• Perform procurement and supplier administration for U.S. Government and commercial subcontracts
• Administer high-value subcontracts ranging from $10K to over $100M
• Manage sourcing and procurement from development to contract closeout
• Oversee supplier relationships and ensure performance standards are met
• Monitor material supply to support production and demand needs
• Develop supply chain strategies and solutions for complex problems
• Conduct risk analysis and create mitigation plans

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Subcontracts Manager to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. In this remote role, you will lead subcontract management and procurement efforts that support U.S. Government and commercial programs. You will partner across sourcing, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to manage contract execution from development through closeout while helping ensure cost, schedule, and performance objectives are met. This position also plays a key role in supply continuity, risk mitigation, and negotiation strategy across a complex portfolio of high-value agreements.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $107,500 - $204,500 annually
