Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an entry- to mid-level Subcontract Administrator Assistant to support subcontract professionals in New Albany, Ohio. You will assist with routine duties, data gathering, document preparation, and meetings.

The role emphasizes compliance with contract requirements, tracking performance, and preparing status reports. You will work with Digital Supply Chain and automated systems to ensure smooth subcontract execution.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of subcontract administration, service acquisition, procurement regulations, policies, and contracting practices in engineering/construction.
• Understanding of contract terms, pricing, negotiations, and cost/accounting principles in subcontract administration.
• Ability to administer subcontract performance, changes, claims, and other commercial matters while ensuring contractual compliance.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills to coordinate across multiple functions.

Responsibilities

• Supports one or more Subcontract professionals with routine duties and closeout.
• May handle small-value service agreements.
• Gathers and compiles data for documents and subcontract management.
• Assists in tasks required by the Contract/Subcontract Management Guidebook and automated systems.
• Monitors subcontract performance areas as assigned.
• Investigates specific subcontract problems as assigned.
• Organizes materials for meetings, presentations, and training sessions; prepares status reports.
• Collaborates with Digital Supply Chain and other automation tools.
