Job summary

HII Mission Technologies in Pocasset, MA, is seeking an experienced Subcontracts Administrator to manage start-to-finish administration of major product subcontracts under government prime contracts and commercial agreements.

The role requires 6 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree (or 4 years with a master's), strong negotiation skills, and the ability to obtain a government clearance. Onsite position with growth opportunities within Uncrewed Systems (UxS).

Qualifications

• 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
• Knowledge of CPSR compliance process and government purchasing system requirements.
• Understanding of FAR/DFARS and government contract management principles.
• Excellent verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and procurement background.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government clearance; CFCM certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for procurement of materials and services.
• Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders conferences, evaluate proposals, and negotiate subcontract provisions.
• Coordinate with contracts administration and purchasing to develop policies and procedures.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, ensure timeliness, cost effectiveness, and technical objectives.
• Prepare price analyses, negotiation memos, and maintain CPSR compliant subcontract files.
