Job summary

Bechtel Corporation in Ogden, UT seeks a Subcontracts Administrator to plan, form, administer, and close-out large service and construction subcontracts. The role spans cradle-to-grave subcontracting activities, including bid development, evaluation, and negotiations on the Sentinel project.

The candidate will collaborate with procurement, project controls, safety, and quality teams, provide guidance to staff, and support budget and work-hour estimates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) with relevant experience in subcontracting.
• Experience in fixed-price and flexibly-priced subcontracts for construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, form, administer, and close-out large service and construction subcontracts.
• Conduct bidder prequalification, bid solicitation, bid analysis, and negotiations.
• Prepare and issue subcontracts and services agreements.
• Prepare bidders' lists, pre-qualifications, and bid packages.
• Evaluate bids and prepare commercial bid summaries and recommendations.
• Support planning, staffing, and development of subcontracts personnel.
