Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator to plan, form, administer, and close-out large service and construction subcontracts in Ogden, UT. You will handle bidder prequalification, bid packages, bid analysis and negotiations, with cradle-to-grave management for modules of the Sentinel program.

The role supports planning, budgeting and staffing for subcontracting activities, mentoring staff and coordinating with the Subcontracts Manager.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree and 5–8 years of relevant experience or 9–12 years of relevant work experience.
• Advanced knowledge of fixed-price and flexibly-priced subcontracts for construction and service work.
• Strong administrative, organizational, and written communication skills.
• Experience in change management, contract terms, and cost accounting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, form, administer and close-out large service and construction subcontracts.
• Prepare bidder prequalification, bidder lists, bid solicitations and analyses.
• Negotiate subcontract terms and manage cradle-to-grave processes.
• Support planning, work hours, budgeting and staffing for subcontracting activities.
• Guide project team members on subcontract formation and administration.
