Job summary

Power Plumbing is seeking a Subcontractor Accounts Payable Administrator to join our accounting team and ensure timely processing of subcontractor payments. This full-time, on-site role collaborates with the Accounting Manager to maintain compliance documentation and support smooth AP operations.

Ideal candidates have accounts payable experience, strong attention to detail, and solid data-entry skills. Proficiency in Excel is preferred, with familiarity in Access databases a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in accounting, preferably in an accounts payable role.
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• High accuracy in data entry and financial records.
• Strong numerical skills and analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent organizational skills and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting and clerical support to the Accounting Department.
• Enter daily financial transactions into the accounting system and meet weekly deadlines.
• Assist field personnel with financial inquiries and AP support as needed.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies to ensure subcontractor account accuracy.
• Communicate with subcontractors regarding payment status and documentation.
• Maintain organized subcontractor files, including insurance and compliance documentation.
• Support CIP enrollment requirements for subcontractors.
