Ladders, on behalf of a client in the Aerospace & Defense sector, seeks a Subcontract Administrator for a remote US-based role. You will manage subcontract actions from award through administration within a regulated environment.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliant sourcing, strong supplier performance, and effective contract execution, balancing federal acquisition requirements with commercial discipline.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
  • 15 years of experience required; 9 years of experience preferred with additional relevant education
  • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) required
  • Experience with enterprise management systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Supervisory skills demonstrated through training and mentoring procurement personnel preferred
  • Experience in a NASA procurement environment preferred

  • Award and document purchase orders and subcontracts in accordance with applicable regulations
  • Develop subcontract models for a variety of agreement types
  • Analyze market trends and subcontractor performance
  • Evaluate proposals and negotiate contract terms

  • Maintain procurement metrics and reports

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Subcontract Administrator to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role will support a complex procurement environment by managing subcontract actions from award through administration. The position will partner closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliant sourcing, strong supplier performance, and effective contract execution across a regulated operational setting. It is well suited for a professional who can balance federal acquisition requirements, commercial discipline, and cross-functional coordination.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $108,000 – $130,000 annually
