Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a Subconsultant Engineer to lead subconsultant projects and ensure quality delivery for transmission line work. You will plan and coordinate phases, review designs, and guide subconsultant teams to meet client standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering (ABET) with 4+ years in Transmission Engineering and strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills. Remote/hybrid work options are available, with travel up to 5%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; ABET accredited program or equivalent.
• PE License strongly preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in the Transmission Engineering field.
• Effective leadership and mentoring skills.
• Oversight and quality review of subconsultant engineering design and project scheduling.
• Strong verbal and written communications and client engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of assigned projects.
• Provide oversight and reviews; conduct training as needed.
• Coordinate design aspects and communicate work with team members.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers and subconsultant partners.
